"What constitures the bulwark of our own liberty and independence? It is not our frowning battlements, our bristling sea coasts, our army and our navy. These are not our reliance against tyranny.... Our reliance is in the love of liberty which God has planted in us. Our defense is in the spirit which prized liberty as the heritage of all men, in all lands everywhere." What Other Histories Won't Tell You - Get the Facts Most of our children are being "educated" with bias and falsehoods. These things are in many of our textbooks. Key facts are being omitted. Some of our teachers don't realize this, because it's what they have been taught in the universities. Many of us have grown up being fed historical error. As a people, we need to know the truth, and we need to protect our children from these falsehoods. To defend our Freedom as Americans, we need to educate ourselves and our children in ways that are not happening in much of the academic community. From the author, Phil Winkler I helped found one of Colorado's earliest and largest charter schools and served fourteen years on the curriculum and academic committees and the governing board. In those positions I reviewed many textbooks on civics, economics, and history. I found: Many textbooks contain numerous factual errors and are strongly biased. Some of them selectively omit parts of events in order to convey a false impression. There are also matters of historical importance that no textbook that I've seen (aside from mine) ever mentions. For example:
Our history is being rewritten. Now you know why I wrote this book, America's History Revealed. Here you will find:

In the book: Cross Reference of Declaration to ConstitutionCross References between the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution. These two great documents share common principles, as demonstrated and discussed in this Cross Reference. It will also include a list of the actions of King George III, his royal governors, and of Parliament, that justify the complaints levied against them in the Declaration. This Cross Reference will be included in America's History Revealed. Our Constitution and the Trial of Nicholas ThrockmortonComing Soon: A Play - Based on a trial that occurred in England in 1554, this play demonstrates the need for the rights of the accused protected by our Constitution and Bill of Rights. It shows what can happen when those rights are not firmly established. In 1553, at the death of England's king, Edward VI, son of Henry VIII, Mary Tudor became queen of England. Later known as "Bloody Mary," for the burning of "heretics" during her brief reign, she agreed to marry Philip of Spain, also known for the burning of "heretics" and his backing of the Spanish Inquisition. In England, this marriage led many to fear the coming of Spanish tyranny, and brought Wyatt's Rebellion. The rebellion failed, and Wyatt and many others were executed. Nicholas Throckmorton, a friend of Wyatt, was tried for treason. The manner in which the court conducted this trial and its ending will shock you. Thank God for our Constitution.
